Privacy policy

Preferred Moving Inc. ("we") respects your privacy and follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and how you can see, correct or remove it.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote: your name, phone number, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your email, company, addresses, dates, what you want stored or moved, and your preferred language.
- When you call or email us: what you tell us, so we can answer and do the job.
- How you found us: the page you arrived on, the website that sent you, and campaign tags in the link, if any. We save these with your quote request.
- Spam protection: the quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. We don't store your IP address with your request.
- Website statistics, only if you allow them: Google Analytics counts visits and clicks. It stays off unless you choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, prepare your quote, and plan and carry out the job.
- To keep records we need for our business and the law, such as estimates and invoices.
- To send you news and offers by email, only if you ticked the box that says so. You can stop them at any time by replying to one of those emails or calling us.
- To see which pages help people, if you allowed analytics.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who helps us handle it
We use a few service providers to run this website. They handle your information for us and for no other purpose:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and runs the spam check on the quote form.
- Neon: the database where quote requests are stored.
- Resend: delivers the email that tells our office about your request.
- Google: Google Analytics (only if you allow it), and Google Maps on our contact page (only if you click "Show the map").
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it

Cookies and your browser
This website remembers your cookie choice in your browser. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies. The quote form keeps what you picked in the space estimator in your browser for the current visit only, so you don't type it twice. You can change your analytics choice at any time: .
Seeing, correcting or removing your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contract limits. Contact our privacy officer:
